Hands on Method
Indian Education System strongly believe on the principle of ‘3H’ i.e., Head, Hand, and Heart, said Gandhi Ji. The Hands on Method also relies on the same principle. This method is a purely kinesthetic form of learning which emphasises on ‘learning by doing’.
Holistic Development of Learners
We in Emmanuel facilitate the students to absorb information best through touch, movement, and motion, and hence students learn more easily by doing, exploring and discovering things by themselves. According to new amendments done in educational practices, the school curricula and pedagogy must aim for the holistic development of learners by equipping them with the key of experiential learning, and we already have taken steps into it.
Three Pillars of Education System
Our educational system has three significant pillars;
- Students
- Teachers
- Curriculum
Whereas hands on method contain three constitutional pillars; where education is:
- For the students
- By the students
- To the students
Learning by doing is our motive, where teacher and curriculum play subordinate roles. In other words, the Hands on Method is totally child centered, which is the need of the current scenario.
Emmanuel Employ Unique Techniques of Education
We in Emmanuel employ different techniques like ICT, project activities, field work, experiments, science exhibitions, etc. This way a child develops critical thinking and starts discovering new ideas.
Advantages of using Hands on Method:
- It is a more engaging way of learning.
- It increases memory retention.
- It helps children to enhance their practical knowledge, problem solving skills and critical thinking.
- It enables the learner to become more creative and self-dependent.
- It also develops divergent thinking in students.
Our primary aim of teaching the learning process is to motivate children intrinsically. So that Emmanuel Education Goals can be achieved and children may also be able to implicate their knowledge at each and every step of their life.
